Recently I have been getting a few compliments about the make up I have been wearing so I thought I'd share with everyone what make up I use regularly. On a day-to-day basis, I usually only wear foundation, mascara, bronzer, highlighter and then I fill in my eyebrows. However I thought I'd let everyone know what make up I wear on weekends and some days during the week.
This photo was taken around Christmas time, so the make up I am wearing is more of a winter look, as you can see I used quite dark colours on the eyes, although to brighten up the look I used a very bright highlighter along my cheekbones.
First of all I started off by applying my foundation which is 'Maybelline Super Stay 24' foundation in the shade '010 ivory'. I apply this with my 'Real Techniques' beauty blender, I feel that using a beauty blender helps to make your skin look a lot smoother and give it a better finish. After that I applied my 'Channel No. 20' powder. This was applied using my 'Real Techniques' brush. After my base was on, I then filled in my eyebrows using the 'Sleek' eyebrow wax in shade 'Medium Brown'. Once my eyebrows were filled in I then used my 'Real Techniques' contour brush to apply my bronzer. The bronzer I used was the 'Boujois Bronzing Powder'. This bronzer also comes with a highlighter, however I don't particularly like the highlighter it comes with so I used the 'Mac Soft & Gentle' highlighter. I love this highlighter because it is so pigmented and gives off an amazing glow.
Moving onto my eyes...
For my eyes I used my 'Urban Decay Naked Palette-Smoky'. This is one of my favourite eye shadow palettes, simply because you can make you lid look dark or light depending on the colours that you chose to use. For this look I used the colours: combust, whiskey, password, dirtysweet and high. I used the darker colours on the outer corner of my eye and slowly blended in the lighter colours in the inner corner of my eye. For the liquid eye liner I used the 'natural collection' liquid eye liner in the colour black. After I applied my liquid eye liner, I then applied and thin coat of 'Maybelline Lash Sensational ' mascara in the colour black. Once I had applied my mascara, my make up look was complete.
